Sorairo Kaigan - by the same mangaka who drew Koucha Ouji, this one's a lot shorter but I still liked it, and it's kind of unique in that it deals a lot with the ocean, plus the love interest didn't turn out to be who I expectedīara no Tame ni - this one is pretty old and completely breaks the rule that a heroine can't be overweight, because that's exactly what the protagonist of this manga is Also recommended are Bonze Love, Kiss, Beauty Honey, and Eikawa School Wars
There's a very unique feel to her manga that's not common in othe rworks. Shounenshoujo Romance - a very weird romance, but still a good short readīeauty is the Beast - anything by this mangaka is generally awesome. Oboreru Knife - one of my all time favorites, too bad the scanlation's slow This is a very depressing manga but it's still an awesome romance, based on a cellphone novel. Koizora - happy at the beginning, but gets sad really fast. Honey Bunny - a manga you really can't find anywhere else.because it's got aliens! I love this manga, though some have said it doesn't make sense, but it's highly recommended if you're looking for some uniqueness and short read.Īkashiro Tamago - it's about the romance between a genius girl and a pair of genius twins who are stuck in one body I give it points for originality in character design.they're all so lovable! Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun - currently only has 3 volumes out and an ongoing series. I'm not sure which ones you consider popualr so I'll just list some that I think are very good and unusual, or touching: i am more inclined toward shoujo and josei but still open toward other genres. I am ok with anything as long as its not BL, yaoi, yuri, and the main guy isnt wimpy or weak or makes you cringe. the list goes on fooooorever.Īlso, please don't recommend any korean manhwas, i literally searched up romance and manhwa on MU's genre search and read ALL of them. Please don't recommend me any popular titles, i have probably already read them or at least tried them out! eg, lovecom, crimson hero, koukou debut, hana kimi, hana dori yango, red river, basara, midnight secretary, gokusen, nodame, glass no kamen, etc etc. Love doesn't have to be the main focus of the story, but it should still be good enough to pull at my heartstrings. im an avid romance manga reader, and i am sad to say that i have RUN OUT of titles!!! alas, no matter how hard i search i can't seem to find any remaining good romance mangas left out there.ĭoes anyone have anything uncommon to recommend me?
